The Tempra R&D team have now completed the design and development of a self-heating bowl for snack meals and soups. With a 200ml capacity the pack is built around a standard smooth wall foil tray which can be filled and sterilized before combining into the heater unit.
The design is compact, but able to heat the food up to a temperature of 65C in 5-10 minutes dependent upon the product viscosity and the amount of stirring which is given.The bowl uses Tempra’s unique chemistry, combined with some new technology (Patent applied for), to deliver a great consumer proposition.
We are now looking for potential commercial partners and end-users to work with to take this pack to market.
